Teen Opportunities

Our SAT and Math enrichment sessions run more like focused academic workshops than traditional camps. Campers engage in focused coursework with WT Instructors. 

New this summer - two summer reading courses that help students work with WT Teachers to engage with their summer reading work like never before! Students in rising grades 6-8 will join Mrs. Senedak to unlock and finish one of the summer reading requirements while also enjoying community connections, fun and delicious field trips, and hands-on learning and adventures. 

Rising grade 9 and 10 have the opportunity to work with Mr. Gough to complete summer reading work and two annotated bibliographies while working with local authors, exploring connections in our city, and making the return to school a little bit easier!

A typical day includes:

• Clear learning goals and structured instruction 
• Small-group lessons or guided practice sessions
• Time for independent work with instructor support
• Practice problems, review strategies, and skill-building exercises
• Opportunities to ask questions and receive individualized feedback
• Built-in breaks to reset and recharge 
• A more focused pace that is also productive, helping students make progress without feeling overwhelmed.

Teen Summer Learning Camps are designed to meet campers where they are academically and developmentally.
