Summer Learning
These camps are designed for any high school students, typically rising grade 9 through grade 12, who want to strengthen academic skills, prepare for advanced coursework, or get ahead during the summer.
These programs are ideal for students who:
- Want to prepare for standardized testing like the SAT
- Are looking to preview or reinforce math courses
- Are looking for targeted support to fill learning gaps
- Are motivated to stay academically engaged while still enjoying summer
- WT Students are able to receive course credit for our summer math classes
Summer Camp Counselors & Counselors in Training
Who we're looking for: Engaged, responsible high school and college students. Or anyone passionate about working with kids aged 3-14. College graduates and other adults are encouraged to apply as well - we are always looking for ways to deepen our program and expand classes.
Expectations: Support weekly camp themes; assist with setup/cleanup, transitions, recess games, supervision, arrival/dismissal, and camper engagement.
Schedule: Typically Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with option for AM or PM care.
Compensation: $10/hr (high school students); $15/hr (graduated students and college students).
Locations: WT’s Molloy Posner Hall and/or Allegheny RiverTrail Park (Pittsburgh).
Commitment: We are looking for staff to work at least 3-10 weeks during the summer season (June–August).
