Teddy Bear Camps

Designed specifically for our youngest campers, age 3.

These half-day programs are ideal for campers who are new to WT Summer Camp or structured play environments away from caregivers. They are also great campers who are looking for a little introduction to WT and have the afternoon to nap, play, and explore.

Our Teddy Bear Camps are one of WT Summer Camp's longest-running programs and are a warm introduction to WT Summer Camp, helping campers build confidence, learn to play alongside and with peers, and have FUN!

What families should know:

  • Teddy Bear Camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

  • We provide a morning snack.

  • We know it is hard to drop off at this age. We suggest arriving a little early on the first day to ensure you and your camper don't feel rushed.  (We know, easier said than done with a 3-year-old.) We have super awesome camp counselors who will walk your camper directly to their camp room!

  • We have amazing staff who will help make sure their days are full of fun! Some tears on the first day(s) are normal! Please know that if your camper is distraught or we are not able to help them cool down, we will always call you. Camp is meant to be a FUN and wonderful place.

  • Feel free to text Annie, our Director of Programs, during the day if you have any questions or want her to check in! She cannot always give immediate feedback, but will do her best.

  • Kona Ice will be on campus every Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Unless you opt out of Kona Ice, you will automatically be registered. Our Teddy Bear Campers will be the first to get their Kona Ice and will be finishing up when you arrive to pick up.

  • Pizza Lunch Fridays: Similar to Kona Ice, campers who are registered will get two slices of pizza and fruit for lunch at 11:30 a.m. If you did not add pizza, no worries, campers will be having fun playing!

Our goal is for every Teddy Bear Camper to leave feeling safe, happy, and excited to come back the next day.
