The night before the first day of school is still one that is filled with emotion for me, even as I begin my 33rd year as an educator. I still get excited about seeing children enter classrooms with their teachers for the first time. Watching new and old friends connect for a new year is incredibly heartwarming. Witnessing the foundations of the important student-teacher relationships begin to form so quickly fills me with hope and joy for the teaching and learning that lies ahead.
What a wonderful morning it was to see our students and teachers arrive on our newly reimagined campus, navigating new hallways, classrooms, and dining room with their eyes wide open and excited for what is to come. Each one has brought their dreams and goals with them and is excited for the journey ahead! The possibilities and opportunities are endless.
As with every new school year, we welcome new faculty, staff, and administrators and celebrate new opportunities for returning members of the school community. Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with our New Faces, New Places.
Welcome to our 139th school year. It is sure to be our best yet!
