Winchester Thurston is located in the Shadyside neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Approximately five miles east of downtown, our school is in the heart of one of the city's most vibrant educational, cultural, medical, and research communities.Our campus spans three buildings along Morewood Avenue, all within easy walking distance of one another. Molloy Posner Hall, which houses our Lower and Middle Schools, is located on Morewood Avenue between Ellsworth Avenue and Bayard Street. Next door is our Upper School, situated on the corner of Morewood Avenue and Bayard Street. The Joan Clark Davis Center for Interdisciplinary Learning is a short walk away, at the corner of Morewood Avenue and Centre Avenue.
