Using Your Local Library as a Resource

Even though local libraries are not currently loaning out physical items, you can still access a variety of digital materials through the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. With a library card, you have access to ebooks, audiobooks, music, movies, and more through vendors such as Hoopla, Libby, and OverDrive. If you live in Allegheny County and need a library card, please follow the instructions and sign up via this link. If you reside outside the county, contact your local library for information on how to obtain a library card.

Additionally, we encourage all WT students to complete their local library's Summer Reading Program. You can sign up for the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's Summer Reading program here; information on the program should be posted within the next few weeks. Students who participate in any Summer Reading program should email their Division Librarian proof of completion by Monday, September 7, to be entered into a raffle for exciting prizes.
