Winchester Thurston School is available to help other schools create meaningful, authentic community-based learning experiences. We offer numerous consulting services and professional development workshops that are customized to each school's needs.
- Consulting Services: Our talented staff and faculty provide consultation about the best way to integrate community-based learning experiences into the classroom, including evaluating existing opportunities, coaching faculty on designing and implementing experiences, meeting with stakeholders about the impact of the program, and much more.
- Professional Development Workshops: We help schools design and lead workshops that explore community-based learning. These professional development workshops could focus on specific curricular initiatives or general approaches to understanding community-based learning.
- Visit Us Days: We welcome schools to visit Winchester Thurston for an immersive, hands-on experience to understand City as Our Campus. These visits typically include meetings with various faculty and staff, observation of community-based learning experiences, and consultation.
