At Winchester Thurston, we’re all about turning the everyday ride into something more—more convenient, more connected, and even more fun. Our Pittsburgh private school transportation service is a stress-free lifeline for busy families.

WT is committed to making its campus accessible to all students. In accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Education guidelines, students who live within a 10-mile radius of WT may be eligible for transportation from the public school district in which they reside.

For students who live in school districts where transportation to WT is either unavailable or inconvenient, a van service that spans the greater Pittsburgh area is available at an additional cost. Our drivers make sure every commute is smooth and safe, while students often enjoy forming new friendships on the ride—turning their journey into a positive part of the day.

WT families can roll into school on bikes using our secure racks, coordinate carpools to cut down on traffic and emissions, or even enjoy scenic walks when the option works. We encourage weaving sustainability into everyday life while keeping things simple and doable.

With a dedicated transportation coordinator working on behalf of all students, WT families have direct access to a wealth of information on the most convenient solution for their needs.
