Directions to the North Hills Campus

North Hills Campus From Downtown Pittsburgh: Take 579 North towards the Veterans Bridge. Follow signs to Allegheny Valley Expressway/PA 28 toward Etna. Merge onto PA 28. Go approximately 4 ¼ miles to PA 8 North via exit number 5B toward Butler. The exit will be on the left. Stay on PA 8 North for approximately 1 ½ miles. Turn right onto Saxonburg Boulevard. Turn left immediately onto Middle Road. Middle Road winds through a residential area for several miles. As soon as you pass the Hartwood Acres concert entrance and Central Elementary School on your right, the school will be on your left.

From Interstate 79: From 79 north, merge onto 279 north via exit 59A toward Pittsburgh. Merge onto Allegheny Valley Expressway/PA 28 north via exit 7C toward Etna. Take Allegheny Valley Expressway/PA 28 north to PA 8 north via exit 5B, on the left, toward Butler. Turn right onto Saxonburg Boulevard. Turn left immediately onto Middle Road. Middle Road winds through a residential area for several miles. As soon as you pass the Hartwood Acres concert entrance and Central Elementary School on your right, the school will be on your left.

From the City Campus to the North Hills Campus: Start out going northwest on Morewood Avenue toward Bayard Street. Turn left onto PA 380/Baum Boulevard. Continue to follow PA 380. Turn right onto the Bloomfield Bridge. Turn left onto Liberty Avenue. Turn right onto 40th Street. 40th Street becomes 40th Street Bridge. Take the PA-28 north ramp toward Millvale. Merge onto Allegheny Valley Expressway/PA 28 north toward Etna. Take exit number 4 on the left toward Etna. Turn left onto Butler Street. Turn right to stay on Butler Street. Turn left onto PA 8 north/Butler Street. Turn right onto Saxonburg Boulevard. Turn left immediately onto Middle Road. Middle Road winds through a residential area for several miles. As soon as you pass the Hartwood Acres concert entrance and Central Elementary School on your right, the school will be on your left.
