Runner Medals 8th in the State

Congratulations to sophomore Maddie S. who placed 8th at the PIAA State competition with a time of 11.27 in the 3200m run. Maddie added to WT sports history by taking first place in the 3200 at the WPIAL Track Championships. She is the second WT female runner to place first in the WPIAL Championships, joining the company of Cassandra Richards ’01.
The track team is coached by Bruce Frey who has been coaching at WT for 19 years.
