Call for Proposals: Investment Grade Audit and Sustainability Consulting Services
Winchester Thurston School, a nationally recognized coeducational, Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 independent school in Pittsburgh, has made great strides in expanding and improving its Campus facilities. In order to continue to meet the educational needs of a growing student population, strengthen instructional abilities, and build competitive position, WT is committed to bringing its facilities to a 21st century level of sustainability by exploring and adopting modifications and enhancements to reduce its carbon footprint and realize cost-saving energy efficiencies. The eventual goal is to secure LEED for Schools certification, and serve as a model for other institutions that choose to retrofit older buildings with green technologies and systems. The first step in WT’s overall sustainability strategy is an Investment Grade Audit for all of Winchester Thurston facilities at both campuses. WT seeks proposals from qualified firms to conduct the Audit and perform related consulting services.
