Boys Basketball - Middle

Middle School Basketball emphasizes participation, basic skill development, and knowledge of the sport. All students who meet attendance requirements are invited to participate. Middle School teams include girls and boys teams and are divided by grade and ability levels. The "A Team" consists of our most skilled and oldest players; the "B Team" consists of younger, developing players; and a "Sixth Grade Team" is offered when there are sufficient interest and demand. All students are encouraged to participate; WT maintains a no-cut policy so that students may participate regardless of skill level. The season runs from December to February during which teams practice four to five times per week and have a schedule of approximately 15 games. Practices are held at WT and Shadyside Presbyterian Church immediately after school.
