Girls Field Hockey - Middle

Middle School Field Hockey emphasizes participation, basic skill development, and knowledge of the sport. All students who meet attendance requirements are invited to participate. Middle School teams are open to all students and are divided by grade and ability levels. The "A Team" consists of our most skilled and oldest players; the "B Team" consists of younger, developing players; and a "Sixth Grade Team" is offered when there is sufficient interest and demand. All students are encouraged to participate; WT maintains a no-cut policy so that students may participate regardless of skill level. The season runs from August to October during which teams practice four to five times per week and have a schedule of approximately 15 games. Practices are held at WT and Wightman Field immediately after school.
