WT's unique Academic Enrichment and Challenge Program (AEC) is designed to meet the needs of high ability learners in the Lower School years and it compliments our long-standing commitment to the Responsive Classroom approach providing an intentional balance of individualized instruction and a strong social curriculum.
WT is proud to be the only school nationally to have received both the E.E. Ford Leadership Grant in recognition of innovative teaching, and the Malone Family Foundation's Malone Scholars Grant, which recognized WT in 2007 as one of only three schools nationwide for excellence in gifted and talented education. Now is the time to apply for the 2010 school year. Applications are received years in advance, but the admission process begins formally the fall before your child would enroll.
We accept the most students at our "entry grades" of Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th grade and 9th grade; occasionally there are spaces available in other grades.
