Computer Science Department Chair David Nassar, and Science Department Chair Graig Marx were recently named "Network Leaders" by OESIS, a dynamic network of more than 550 independent schools and nearly 3,000 leading innovators in education. This distinction is based on attendee comments from the OESIS conference at which they presented last year.
The OESIS network focuses on changing the learning models of schools with an emphasis on the innovative practices in pedagogy, curriculum development, and school culture change. Their mission is to catalyze the considerable 21st century opportunities for independent school growth which they do by maximizing collaboration between the many schools that constitute the independent school tapestry, by provoking innovative conversations, by globalizing connections for independent schools, and by using research and information to lead.
Congratulations, Dave and Graig!
