WT Summer Campers Donate 100 Star Wars Toys to Children's Hospital

This summer, WT Summer Campers have been learning, growing, having fun, and giving back!

Each year, campers age 3 through grade 5 participate in more than 200 themed camps at the North Hills Campus at WT, including a Star Wars-themed Jedi Knight Training camp, where young "Padawan" apprentices participate in problem solving challenges that support the Jedi Code toward a peaceful and cooperative galactic society. But campers didn't just try their hand at lightsaber fencing, they donated new Star Wars toys to Children's Hospital. Better yet, many of the toy donations were from campers participating in other WT Summer Camps. Altogether, campers donated more than 100 new toys.

Jedi Knight Summer Camp friends handed out many of the donated toys at a recent visit to Children's Hospital, along with the 501st and Rebel Legions, organizations of Star Wars costume enthusiasts who also volunteer and support charitable work.
